Base Salary Range: $120,000 - $200,000 annually

Position Summary
GWx is seeking a Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of complex mission-critical engineering projects. You will serve as a primary point of coordination among clients, GWx technical teams, consultants, contractors, and project stakeholders while driving scope, schedule, budget, quality, communication, and overall project performance from pursuit and planning through design, construction, and commissioning.
Key Responsibilities
Project Leadership & Client Service
Project management at GWx is about creating clarity, accountability, and exceptional outcomes.
Lead multidisciplinary engineering projects from project initiation through closeout
Serve as a primary client contact and build trusted, long-term relationships
Establish project execution plans, communication protocols, milestones, and deliverable expectations
Lead internal and external project meetings and design coordination
Anticipate client needs, identify issues early, and drive timely resolution
Scope, Schedule & Financial Management
Deliver projects with disciplined operational and financial management.
Develop and manage project scope, schedules, staffing plans, and budgets
Monitor project financial performance, earned revenue, labor utilization, and remaining effort
Coordinate resource needs with discipline and operational leaders
Manage changes in scope and support preparation of additional service requests
Maintain accurate project forecasts and communicate risks and opportunities to leadership
Multidisciplinary Coordination & Quality
Create an environment where technical teams can deliver their best work.
Coordinate electrical, mechanical, plumbing, fire protection, technology, automation, and commissioning disciplines as applicable
Facilitate interdisciplinary reviews and resolve coordination issues
Support implementation of GWx quality management processes
Ensure project deliverables meet contractual requirements, client expectations, and GWx technical standards
Coordinate with architects, contractors, vendors, utilities, and other project partners
Construction Administration & Project Closeout
Coordinate responses to RFIs, submittals, field issues, and construction-phase requests
Support site observations, owner meetings, and construction coordination
Coordinate engineering support during startup, commissioning, and Integrated Systems Testing
Drive timely resolution of outstanding project issues
Support project turnover, lessons learned, and closeout activities
Leadership & Continuous Improvement
Promote accountability, collaboration, integrity, and an ownership mindset across project teams
Mentor emerging project managers and technical leaders
Develop and improve project management tools, processes, and best practices
Share lessons learned across the organization
Support pursuits, proposals, interviews, and client development activities
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related discipline preferred
7-15+ years of architecture, engineering, construction, or related project delivery experience
Demonstrated experience managing multidisciplinary design or engineering projects
Strong understanding of project scope, schedule, budget, contracts, and financial performance
Excellent client service, communication, organization, and leadership skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and lead teams in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
Mission Critical/Data Center experience
Professional Engineer (PE), Registered Architect (RA), PMP, or similar professional credential
Experience managing large, complex, fast-track engineering projects
Experience with design-build and multidisciplinary project delivery
Familiarity with Revit, Bluebeam, BIM360/Autodesk Construction Cloud, and project management/ERP platforms
Experience supporting project pursuits, proposals, and client interviews

The anticipated base salary range for this position is provided in good faith and represents GWx's reasonable expectation for compensation at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, technical expertise, professional licensure, certifications, geographic location, project experience, and overall qualifications. This position may also be eligible for annual incentive compensation and other benefits.
